Zionsville Parade 09/12
On a cool morning the Zionsville Parade got off to another slow go for the Corvette Indy group as the 9 Corvettes were near the end as parade unit number 88 where they made a slow descent down the hill from the High School to downtown Zionsville. Corvette Indy was the third Corvette club in the parade with Circle City and the Shriner Corvette clubs being the other two, which made for a Corvette full parade. There was great weather until the very end of the parade route where they got a few sprinkles but nothing really bad to stop the good time with the great Corvette Indy family group.
Corvette Indy's Parade Coordinator John H. wrote these comments on the parade.
We had a brisk but beautiful day for the Zionsville Fall Festival Parade. Nine cars participated. The crowd was larger than normal, probably due to the weather. Those who participated were Ray H. and daughter McKenzie, Barry R., Bill and Cheryl R., Alan C., Wylie E., Charles D., Tom and Nancy P, Charlie S. and John and Marg H. Four of us went to lunch at Stone Creek. The others had other commitments. Next year should be even better.
Thanks to Wylie & Bill for the pictures and John's report.
