Jason's Deli

On the evening of May 7 Greg sent out a notice for a Retiree & Hookey Player DnD for the next afternoon that was to start at Bill & Erika's. The plan was to leave their house at 1 and take a drive to Parky's or some other place to get a bit of a drive in. Greg had said he would be able to go if a new washer was delivered in time Thursday morning. A few minutes later Greg found an email from Jeff B suggesting an earlier lunch at Joe's Crab Shack for the next afternoon. With one very short notice announcement just sent Greg did not send Jeff's out to the club. As it turned out with such short notice there were no other takers for the planned drive. Seeing that Bill spoke with Greg and it was decided to just go to Jason's Deli and save the longer drive for another day. Jeff was then contacted and joined with the other 3, with all getting to Jason's after the lunch rush. The four had a good time talking about the upcoming IMS track events and Greg's planning for the Penske Car Show among other things. It was a beautiful day just clipping 90 degrees on the Corvette thermometer as the group drove away. The other thing learned is that even for Retirees and Hookey players we really need to give them 2 days notice.
