Carmel Parade "The Gathering"

On July 4th the Club met at it usual location in front of the Mellow Mushroom for the Carmel Parade. Over 40 Corvettes pulled in and lined in the parking lot along with "Bob's Donuts & Coffee" delivery pickup truck. Bob's treat to the members was good way to awakening the massing troops in the early morning sunshine. While there Jim A and Bill started taking pictures and then continued as the Corvettes were moved to their final staging spot by the former Teddies Burgers, just around the corner. Host Gregg E had found out about the new staging location too late for this years initial meeting spot, but hopefully it will become our spot in subsequent years and letting us just get parked once before the parade start. While parked there some members got their chairs out and used the available shade while others use the time to chat and give their Corvettes that final once over. Since the club was number 91 in the procession we did not leave the staging point until almost noon, so had lots of time together.
