October Putnam Park Runs
On the weekend of October 26-28 Putnam Park road course was open to the 10/10s group.
On October 27 Mike W set a personal best at 1:21.97. On October 26 & 27 Mike G was also there with the following comments:
I went Friday and Saturday where the temperature was near freezing in the morning. A bit cold with the window down doing 120+ down the main straight. Patrick Wrigley joined me on Friday. Took about 4 warm-up laps to get the tires to temperature. After the sun came out (2nd session) there was plenty of grip. I was worn out mid way through Saturday. Had about 4 hours of track time by then. These we comfortable laps, about 2-4 seconds off my fastest - just having a great time with the car. This video show a spin right in front of him - no damage.
