Bruce Robbins 1/9/47 - 7/5/12
Bruce was a member of Corvette Indy for 20 years, joining in 1992. With a real fondness for his prize Corvettes owning and showing a '78 Pace Car Edition and a Triple Black '98 Convertible which was the first C5 Convertible sold in the State of Indiana. In 2003 the '78 was awarded Bloomington Gold Certification, and that car has won numerous concours events. He also attended Mid-America Fun Fest and Corvettes at Carlisle for many years
Once diagnosed with cancer Bruce made a valiant effort to do as many Corvette related events as he could attend including Bloomington Gold just two weeks prior to his passing. He also went to the Penske Car Show winning the Penske Choice for Best Corvette for the '78. Bruce and his son Jeff could be seen enjoying his '98 Corvette despite his health problems as they both attended the 500 Race Opening Day and the Night Before the 500.
Bruce was able to spend his final days with his family and his "Corvette family" and he very much appreciated the support from his "Corvette family".

Bloomington Gold - 2012
Bruce and son Jeff made a full day of it on June 23 which was the last Corvette event Bruce was able to attend.
