Friday's Bargain Blaster & More

On Friday Wylie along with his son in law headed back to Mecum to just cruise around and see the sights as his son in law had never been to the live Mecum show. While there they saw that a '93 40th Anniversary Convertible that was about to go through the auction. Wylie had already been interested and proceeded to check it out, and then decided to bid on it. He won the bid and with a selling price of $19k the C4 was designated the 'Bargain Blaster" of the day by Bill Stevens. The great thing is that Rita had been watching the auction and saw Wylie win, although she was bummed that she had not been there. The Bargain Blaster was the first one of the auction, so must be considered a real good deal for them.

Jim A and friend Sid attended the Mecum auction on Friday too. He said that the cool weather was great – it made almost endless walking and gawking much easier. There were hundreds of great muscle and performance cars. Even if you are not buying or selling, it is a great car show for the money.
