L A Cafe

With just an evening before short notice, a Retirees & Hookey Players Drive N Dine was called for to take place on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon. With the forecast for rain on Thursday & Friday a group of 5 Corvettes and 8 members gathered at Bill & Erika's to take a scenic drive to beautiful downtown Whitestown and L A Cafe. The members consisted of Robert, Jack, Greg & Donna, Jim & Shelley, and Bill & Erika. The group took a rather circuitous route from Carmel by going through several subdivisions and a tour of the Northern edge of Zionsville before getting on CR300 for the direct route in to town. Upon arriving we maintained a safe 24 MPH just in case the local gendarme was out in force protecting the streets of this lively metropolis.
Once in the cafe everyone had a great meal and good conservation discussing the past holiday and future sorties of the club.
