Saturday Two Club DnD 11/19
Corvette Indy went on a Drive N Dine with the Hoosier Corvette Club on Saturday to Route 32 Restorations in Crawfordsville and then for dinner afterwards at Stookey's in Thorntown. With weather turning towards winter Corvettes were scarce on the trip but a good group from the two clubs did make the trek.
Gary Cole sent in the following report and additional pictures:
The weather being a bit brisk and on the cool side, Corvette Indy left the West-side of Indy from the Kohl's Department Store Lot on Crawfordsville Road at 3:00 and met up with approximately 35 other members from the Hoosier Corvette Club at the Liston Rest Stop who started out in Greenwood and we then continued on to Route 32 Restorations in Crawfordsville. After spending about 1-1/2 hours viewing the beautiful collection of restored gasoline pumps, collector cars, and vintage signs we caravanned to Stookey's Family Restaurant in Thorntown for a Catfish and Steak dinner. The food was as advertised with their signature Onion Rings be a big hit as the appetizer of choice.
Those attending from CI included 13 members and 1 rider for a total of 14 individuals.
Gary & Marian Cole,John Rash,Sherry Sawyer,William & Sharon Arnold, Jerry & Elaine Croy, Ray & Sherry Chester,
Ray & Nikki Hieston, McKenzie Hieston (Rider), and Mark Hilligoss
Look for more multi-club activities to be planned in the future as all enjoy the camaraderie of all Corvette owners.
