4th Annual Winter Party
On January 23 Bill & Erika Lapham held their 4th Annual Winter Party on a crisp but clear evening. With no travel issues nearly 55 members made their way to Carmel to spend time with other friends from Corvette Indy. In past years the basement area was able to handle the group, but with this year swelling in numbers the upstairs was also put in to service. The down stairs TV had the Mecum auction on, while the living room TV had a variety of basketball games with everyone agreeing that Michigan States new lime green uniforms were a bad look. It was then switched to the auction and finally the Illinois game on for rabid fan Rita's enjoyment. As the evening progressed members started leaving around 9, then another group at 10, and the final group waiting out the game which ended in overtime win for Illinois, much to Rita's delight. During the evening Junior, their black cat, made appearances and was appreciated by the assembled group. The evening was a great way for newer members to meet and talk to a number of members and many are now awaiting the next club get together. Thanks for Bill Reynolds for additional candid shots of the assembled group and the massive amount of food everyone brought to the party.
