​Legends Day at IMS 05/27

Again we want to thank Penske Chevrolet, our great sponsor, and Mike Quinn of Chevy for orchestrating another great day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway track with the other Central Indiana Chevrolet Dealers guests. The weather was kind to us today as our group of 27 Corvettes made its way to IMS for Legends' Day. Our motorcycle escort got us there in no time. Then, after the usual wait, we got our track lap at a bit better than parade speed.  As we were leaving the track, cars were still entering.  We were parked in a fenced in area in the infield near Tunnel 7.  The first speaker was the chief engineer Al Oppenheiser for the Camaro. Then Ed Carpenter was the driver speaker to round out the afternoons activities. Thanks to Jim Shaver for the pictures and report.
