Friday in Bowling Green & Heading Home
Friday morning Greg & Donna and Bill & Erika headed back over the the NCM, but first stopped at Art's Corvette to see what was there. It is an eclectic collection of Corvettes, early Chevrolet and other makes for sale. Since Greg is looking for a C6 he checked out a yellow one on their sales floor, but was later vetoed by Donna as she has decided against getting another yellow car at this time. She is actually leaning towards Orange, which they checked several out in the NCM parking lot over the two days. The search still goes on to add to their collection. We then decided on a quick stop at the museum before heading our way north on state highways. Our trek out of Bowling Green was on 185 to 79 and crossing the bridge in to Indiana and picking up 135, which is a true Corvette road! Due to the weather when we got near Nashville we headed east to pick up I65 and actually made it all of the way through Indy until getting rained on where we had to put the tops up during a stop at a traffic light. It was a great trip and we are looking forward to doing it again.
