Classical Glass Car Show

This year' show was at a new location LA Fitness at 106 & Meridian. As usual Classical Glass ran a great show and had many beautiful and CLEAN cars to look at... competition was especially tough in the C5 class where there were many "best of show" class entries... they have expanded their show which remains basically a Corvette show but now has additional classes such as Classic, Street Rod, Custom, Daily Driver, Truck, Import, etc. which lets other types of cars compete and they drew in many very nice cars... a couple of cars were trailered in so look for them to add a "trailer queen" class next year...
the weather was warm but not the tripple digit punishment that we've been enduring and some early cloud fog made the show prep and detailing period pleasant and a steady breeze throughout the day provided a cooling relief... Jeff saved the day by erecting his newly purchased tent canopy and provided us all hiding place from the sun... those who entered this year were Rich & Suzanne B, Jeff B, Susie H, Chris & Paula W, Greg & Donna B, John B entered, with Doug & Arminta I stopping by and joined us for dinner as all but John went to the Texas Road House for steaks to celebrate a great day with friends
The club made a good showing by receiving the following trophies
Jeff took 2nd place in the C6 category
Chris took 3rd place in the C5 1997-2000 class
Susie took 3rd place in the C5 2001-2004 class
Greg took 1st place in the C3 class
Donna took 1st place in the daily driver class with her 2008 Solstice, "Lady" won her 1st trophy
