Long Distance DnD Hosts 05/22

Since Jim & Shelley Noelle were going to be in town for a few days they called for a dine at Jason's on Monday evening. With beautiful weather a number of Corvettes and over 30 members took the opportunity to catch up with them as they have just moved in to their recently finished house in Mooresville NC. They were back in Indy to help their oldest son Jim Jr. get ready for his move to NC, as he was a casualty of the H H Greg closings. With members not having seen the couple since the Lapham's Winter party there was much catching up for all. The couple are extremely happy with the new house but also confirmed the wisdom of moving to the Charlotte area to oversee the building while being done. They recounted that on a nearly daily basis that decisions needed to be made to get the house done as they envisioned. They did get it done and are now settling in, including Jim taking care of their newly finished pool. After dinner Jim got to see that John Vess was taking great care of the C7 that he had owned first, including some mods John has done. John also will be looking for their May points for hosting the long distance dine. Jim & Shelley have not joined another Corvette Club yet, but have made several friends in their neighborhood that have interesting contacts for side trips when Corvette Indy members come to visit.
