Birthday Ride 06/27
During the Monday June 17 Jeff Cox had to announce the moving of the date of his first Drive N Dine to the following Thursday due to flooding in Brown County. This precipitated the following announcements that led up to the change.
NEW DATE: Thursday, June 27th. “Birthday Ride”in Southern Indiana.Due to the wet weather and flooded roads, Jeff has rescheduled his Birthday Ride. Everything has been worked out with the restaurant in Nashville to reschedule the Birthday Drive/Party to Thursday June 27th. UPDATE: Our staging area will be The Vineyard Community Church located at 1672 N.600 W. Greenfield IN. The church is located south off the Mt. Comfort exit on I-70. Please arrive no later than 9:30 am at this location The church is on the right side of Mt. Comfort Rd (600 W.) Upon your arrival at the church everyone will receive a raffle ticket for a free lunch and door prizes. We will draw for the free lunch at the church and plan to leave in 3 separate groups at 10:00 am. The Vineyard Church will have their restrooms available for us that morning. We will be traveling on some fun roads thru Shelby, Johnson and Brown counties. Lunch buffet will be at the Seasons Lodge in Nashville IN and consist of Fried Chicken, Pot Roast, sides and salad bar. There will be birthday cake and everyone will receive a birthday gift. Hang on to your raffle tickets because we will draw for door prizes at the restaurant. The ride will continue on our return trip home through more back roads in Nashville up to Northern Brown County and end in Trafalgar IN. This is Jeff’s first Drive and Dine and his goal is to make sure everyone has a fun time. The Seasons Hotel can handle 66 people.
Day Of: With absolutely a beautiful day after a nice dry week the ride went off as planned and everyone that was able to go had a great time. Prizes were given out as promised with lots of smiles from everyone.
