Talladega Vettes 4 Vets
For a memorable Memorial Day Celebration Randy and Sherri to a trip to Talladega Alabama in Sherri's pristine White on White C4, to be a part of the Vettes 4 Vets program at the track.
The weekend included meeting up with Sherri's sister, husband and two other couples from Texas.
So there were four couples joining in on the special event for the weekend.
Once at the track they were able to have two 5 lap sessions at high speed around the fabled 2.67 mile long track. During her run, Sherri reached 107 mph on the 1 1/4 mile long back straight, while Randy reached 127 mph during his run. Both said that going into the 33 1/3 degree corners is really something, as they are as tall as 3 1/2 story from the bottom to the top of them. The minimum speed going in to the corners is 70 mph to keep the cars glued to the track. This was a fun weekend with another trip planned for the future.
