Bridgewater's 3rd Parade & Dine 06/03
You know that the parade season is starting when Wylie asks for 15 Corvettes to sign up for a parade through the quiet streets of Bridgewater Country Club on July 3rd. He got the number needed as they congregated at Guerin Catholic Schools before the short drive to the starting point and their assigned positions. With beautiful but hot weather the Corvettes were split up in threes for each section as there were floats, many decorated golf carts, and other exotic cars in this year's parade. The parade went smoothly and at the end the barricades were moved so that the Corvettes could go directly to Wylie's house. Unfortunately Keith, the leader of the second group, followed a Porsche into parking lot and Bob followed him. Linda, the third in that group and the following ones did go straight to Wylie & Rita's house to regroup. After waiting awhile and not seeing or hearing from the missing two Wylie got his Simon Pagenaud Tahoe out to lead the group to our dinner location at the Italian House in downtown Westfield. Once there it turned out that the other two had gone directly there and were already seated. As in past years the food and service was great and all there enjoyed the evening and getting ready for the Carmel 4th July page.
