Caribbean Cruising 11/9 ~ 11/16
A group of Corvette Indy members headed to the South Seas this Fall.
Those members were Ray & Sherry Chester, Gary & Marian Cole, Jimmie & Donna Driscoll, Susie Hale & Terry Sitzer, Bud & Eileen Mitcheltree, John Rash & Sherry Sawyer, Mark & Jan Rothrock, and Larry & Dona Stein

Holland CI Pre-Cruise at Embassy Suites
"Corvette Indy unleashed, many of the attending couples meeting at the Ft. Lauderdale Embassy Suites on Friday, November 9th! Good friends and family!! This trip destined to be such a blast!!

Day #2 CI Cruise - Half Moon Cay
We're having a fantastic time seeing the sights and flavors of Holland America Oosterdam with our wonderful Corvette Indy family who ventured forth with us on this cruise. Half Moon Cay today with plenty of beach time, food and drink! Perfect weather at 85-degrees

CI Cruise at Samana, DR
Diverted from our original port of Cap Cana, DR - 8 of our CI family ventured out to see the beautiful countryside, a Humpback whale museum, an old house, two old churches, and learned the rumba, not!? 😁 Our tour guide, Alfredo, also introduced us to El Presidente corn beer! 🍺 Viva le Republica!!
Diverted from our original port of Cap Cana, DR - 8 of our CI family ventured out to see the beautiful countryside, a Humpback whale museum, an old house, two old churches, and learned the rumba, not!? 😁 Our tour guide, Alfredo, also introduced us to El Presidente corn beer! 🍺 Viva le Republica!!
CI-Cruise Grand Turk
Lovely morning on Grand Turk getting around via a battery-run Hummer - it was a convertible, at least. 😎 Knowledgeable guides took us through to various areas and to "Downtown" ravaged by recent hurricanes, Irma & Maria, and still being rebuilt. Salt was a primary industry and now tourism is. We became acquainted with various sea creatures like a live conch, sea anemone, and starfish. Animals roamed at will grazing. The beach here was beautiful!

CI-Day at Sea & Gala Night
A day at sea had many of us enjoying a lovely, lazy day on Lido Deck at the pool sailing by Cuba, at the expansive buffet, and on the lounge chairs baking our bods. Then our last Gala evening for the cruise so we were all prettied up. After an excellent dinner of Surf n Turf, we watched incredibly talented dancers and singers on the main stage. What a fun cruise this has been! Final port will be Key West!!

CI Cruise - Key West
Fantastic last day here at Key West!! So many sights, smells, tastes, sounds, and feelies (well, we all touched the southernmost point in the US of A)!! Our meal in Key West was at this well known place called Sloppy Joe's. Hemingway was a regular there, apparently. Delicious sandwiches - of course, the Sloppy Joes along with onion rings! Last port of call before returning to Ft. Lauderdale on the 17th. Corvette Indy family ROCKS!!
