Carmel 4th July Parade 07/04
Corvette Indy for the 20th year in a row participated in the Carmel 4th of July Fest Parade with 32 member Corvettes adding a lot of color to the day. As in recent years Bob arrived at the initial staging point with his tailgate service of hot coffee and donuts which were enjoyed by many. Once the makeshift sign-in sheet was done the group moved over to the usual parade staging location near Carmel Kitchens to hopefully find some shade in what turned out to be a hot and humid day. This year we were group #77 which was very near the end of the parade. Once underway the going was a bit slower than past years as it took right at an hour to complete the 2.1 mile route. Jim Alvis was at the first staging post and got great pictures as the group left the lot and are below along with his other pictures. After the parade a smaller group than usual headed to Scotties Brew House with many others heading home to beat the heat. Page II has a number of more before - during - & after Parade Pictures.
