​Hat Presentation 10/17

Corvette Indy member Bob Young happen to come across the post at the right and felt the club could do something to help the boy that had lost his hat. His name is Haddon and the hat had been a gift from his grandfather who had passed away in June of this year. The loss of that hat was very upsetting to the young man and Bob told Wylie a few days before the meeting about what had happened, Wylie then set up a meeting with the family at our normal Wednesday evening Noble Roman's parking lot location on Tuesday afternoon. Haddon's mom, older sister, older brother Atticus, and younger brother Peregrine were also there. Along with Bill, who brought the quickly recognized older Stingray. Wylie presented Haddon with a new Corvette Indy hat, a 40th Anniversary hat, a 2017 Main Event shirt, and a Lingenfelter poster. Mom is still trying to retrieve the original hat and is considering posting a small reward. In the meantime the boys got to check out several Corvettes up close. Haddon's mom also said that she is sure her dad would tell the club that it is the nicest thing that someone as done in his memory. She also said that they would probably be selling her dad's 07 Corvette soon. We will post the info on it when we it comes out.
