2014 Westfield Rocks the 4th

On July 4th after doing the Carmel parade, and many having lunch at Claddagh's, a caravan from Greg and Donna's headed up Spring Mill gathering more members along the way as they headed to Westfield. Once there 18 Corvettes and 30 plus members had arrived for the annual Westfield Rocks the 4th car show. This show ties in with the weekend festivities held in Westfield each year and this year grew to 119 entries of all type of cars and trucks including a number of VW Bugs and Buses. This is a fun show, as near by there is a midway full of food and drink vendors, which the members made good use of. After a quiet afternoon of members viewing the cars, sitting around and taking and generally taking it easy under the shade trees the awards were announced. Unfortunately Corvette Indy missed tying for most car club members by one vehicle, which the VW club won. We did get a few of the other awards, with Mel getting a trophy cup for oldest participant with the following winning top 40 awards; Jeff B, Greg B, Donna B, Bill & Erika L also Tom & Rhonda K got Best Original and club friends Rich R, Ross G, Fred & Linda W were also winners for a good overall show for club members and friends. The evening ended with most everyone heading out prior to the fireworks to rest up for the rest of the weekend.
