Don Pablo's 10/16
On a beautiful Fall day the Corvette Indy group of Retiree and Hookey Players met at Bill & Erika's for a drive to Don Pablo's in Westfield. The event had come about because Greg had been contacted by the manager of Don Pablo's to see if the club would like to do a drive there. In the subsequent emails the manager also said that he had approval for a 15% discount be given to the attending members. With this in mind and the beautiful weather forecast 18 Corvettes arrived for the 1pm drive time. Those attending along with the hosts were Greg & Donna B, Al & Terri F, Jim S, Greg T, Pete D, Jim & Pam K, Mike T, Bruce & Kathy A, Bob & Sherry W, Wylie E, Gary & Marian C, Paul & Londa H, Dick & Bonnie P, Mark & Donna S, Jack H, Charlie S, Tammy D, and Susie H & Terry S who arrived in the newly purchased 2001 Corvette for Florida. The group of 19 Corvettes headed out of the West side of Carmel to do a loop around Ditch, then up Spring Mill and a cruise around the Westfield Grand Park and out by the new golf club complex being build. Then circled back and under US31 to work their way down to 161st street and used that entrance to US31 and then the 151st exit to their destination just North of 141st street. With their arrival they were met by Dean & Zoe D, Rita E, and Keith T to make a large group in the restaurant. The after 2 arrival time allowed for a lot of tables to be pushed together and good service. Every one had a great time as the club heads in to the the dreaded winter months and no Corvette driving for those that don't move off to warmer climates. Thanks to Greg for responding to the Facebook inquiry and suggesting the drive.
