Meals on Wheels Show
On Saturday August 14 a small group of Car Show lovers headed to Greenfield and entered in to the Meals on Wheels Car Show. The following is Jeff's report: Today was the perfect day to attend a car show, not to hot and a nice cool breeze. Members in attendance were Greg and Donna B with their Red C5 convertible, Rich and Suzanne B with their Red C6 convertible and Jeff B (aka Junior) and Charity N with the Yellow C6 coupe. The group did some last minute detailing before the judging started and once that was completed there was food to be consumed. Everyone enjoyed the BBQ'ed beef brisket and pulled pork with coleslaw and MANY brownies. There was quite a few nice cars out but less than last years show. Of course all participated in the 50/50 and it was decided that the winner would be treating to ice cream somewhere. They didn't win but it would not prevent them from making a trip to DQ afterwards.
As usual members would represent Corvette Indy by winning Top 15 trophies. Greg later added that Jeff Alden was also in attendance with his very clean red C4 and he too earned a top 15 trophy so the Vettes were indeed well represented!
