Double Car Show Day 5/26
Great American Car Show
A Summer Place Open Show
On a very busy Memorial Weekend Saturday the club had members head to two Car shows.
The first was the Great American Car Show run by the Mississinewa Corvette Club in Marion. This was attended by members Wylie Etscheid, Wylie, Bill Reynolds, Dick Higgins, Al Forey, Dick Pacetti and old friends Chris White and Jeff Balow went to for the Corvette Club. Trophy winners were members Al Forey with best C5, Bill Reynolds Elite 10, and Wylie received Best in Class Corvette at large.
The second show was the open car show at "A Summer Place" which is north of Tipton and a neat old village setting. It was attended by Joe Travis and John Burkhardt, who reported that temps were ok with lots of shade. They did get a shower that required some clean up. John also said that we didn’t stay until awards but unlikely that we got anything. Most focus on old street rods and muscle cars and antiques. Lots of nice cars there though.
