2014 Putnam Park Autocross

On Saturday May 31 a small group of Corvette Indy members headed out to Putnam Park for the weekend's autocross. The members there were racers Butch D & John H, with Tammy D & Bill L working a corner during the event. Bob Y was also there with his remaining inventory of wheels and other parts being offered from his trailer. The day started a bit late but kept moving with the 4 Low Speed Events first, which John was in. Unfortunately the low speed entrants had a few off track excursions, which slowed the events up. No cars or drivers were hurt, just a few hay bales in one case. Butch was in the 3 High Speed Events, and even with a greater car count their events finished much quicker. Once the racing was done the group headed for the Saturday evening banquet held at the motel headquarters. A hot but dry day made for a lot of good memories for Corvette Indy Members. On Sunday Butch & Tammy headed back to the track for another great day on NCCC Racing.
