Birthday Drive to Parky's 04/23

On Thursday April 23 Bill & Erika hosted a Retirees and Hookey Players drive to Parky's in Lebanon to celebrate Terry S's birthday. With the weather very sunny but a bit cold 10 Corvettes met at the appointed hour and headed out to Lebanon using the usual back roads to get there. It was early enough in the season that the farm equipment was not out yet and nothing growing to obstruct the views around corners. Those able to attend along with the hosts were Susie H & Terry S, Dean & Zoe D, Jim A, Tom & Nancy P, Jerry & Betty H, Wylie & Rita E, Bob & Sherry W, Jim & Bonnie S, and Bill R. Once there they were met by 2 more Corvettes and members John & Diana A, and Tammy D with granddaughter Araya, a young FCOA Corvette Indy member. The group had a great time and were even able to obtain dinner certificates to the restaurant to be used for Main Event prizes. After lunch was eaten Terry was given a ice cream sundae along with everyone singing 'Happy Birthday' to him to celebrate his true birthday date. Once finished with the great food and much conversation the group headed out with varied routes taken back to the Indianapolis area. Most everyone staying away from I65 / I465 as it was nearing rush hour and used more State and back roads to enjoy the beautiful day for driving. Thanks to Jim S for additional pictures of the day.
