Chevrolet NHRA Track Event

On Thursday September 3 Chevrolet held a track event at Lucas Oil Raceway for the upcoming weekend of the NHRA Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis. Our sponsor Penske Chevrolet was able to invite guests to the day's event and extended invitations to the club. This was the first time club members had been invited for the annual drag racing event and five were able to take advantage of the offer. Those attending were Al and Terri Forey, Mike and Shirley Berry and Terry Adams enjoying the chance to meet the Chevrolet top drag racers. Those racers included John Force, Courtney Force, Brittany Force, Robert Hight and Erica Enders-Anderson shared their experiences with everyone followed by an autograph session. These Chevrolet drivers represented the top divisions of Top Fuel, Funny Car, and Pro Stock, all in which they are winners. As with any other Chevrolet sponsored event day it included a great catered lunch and enjoyable experience for those attending.
