Stuarts Steak House

On Thursday October 18, with a day's notice, a group of Corvette Indy members started from Bill & Erika's for the relatively short trip to Stuarts in Sheridan. Those able to make the Retiree and Hookey Player late lunch were Bill & Erika, Dean & Zoe, Jim & Shelley, Dick & Bonnie, and Greg. Once underway the group headed up Eagle Creek, then to Spring Mill and over to Mule Barn road winding their way to the restaurant. Unfortunately a few damp spots were encountered, as it had rained hard on Wednesday night, but the sun was out and the wind blustery for the day's trip. As the season winds down the group has to take any nice day as it presents itself. Once in the restaurant we were directed to their bar room, which was not busy and an easier spot to group tables together. Everyone had a great lunch, with many being surprised by the size of the smaller sandwiches. The group continued many conservations of different topics until late in the afternoon before finally heading back to their homes before the next round of rain came in.
