Hamilton Town Center Car Show

On Saturday August 3 several of the Corvette Indy members showed their cars at the Hamilton Town Center car show sponsored by Circle City CC. With members Jeff B, Dick & Bonnie P, Robert S, Rich P and Paul H attending, they had a great time on what turned out to be a beautiful day. There was a C7 that was lurking around and Robert S got to sit in it and record the lovely sound of it's exhaust. Somehow Dick and Bonnie got the best parking spot of anyone in the show.....in front of Victoria's Secret. As the day progressed the Corvettes were drooled upon by all the shoppers. The competition was tough among all the classes but CI members Dick P won 1st place in the C4 category (he should have received one for Best Dead Battery also!!!!) and Robert S won 1 st place in the C5 01-04 category. Greg B, Bill R and Rich B along with Rex made a guest appearance as well.
Note from Dick about the battery: Jeff left out the part where he covered my 6 following me home just in cast the battery crapped out. Another little tid bit was making Irish (our president Greg for the new members) laugh so loud when I told him my battery was only 10 years old. But on the way home Bonnie thought it was older so I checked my copious records and the invoice from Les Stanford Chevrolet in Dearborn, Michigan was dated January 15, 2001, so I was a little off, it's 12 years old. Nobody can say I don't get my monies worth.
