Bridges of Rush County Tour

On Saturday September 28 a Drive N Dine hosted by Charlie & Tammy B, Jim & Dee B, and Ed & Carolyn J met at the McDonalds at I74 & Post Roads to begin their Over the Rivers & Through the Bridges to the Park We Go Tour of covered bridges in Rush County. They were joined by members Doug & Arminta I, Andy & Sarah L, Alan & Judy C, Bob & Barb Y, Kim C and her dad Roosevelt, along with the day's photographers Bonnie & Jim S. for 9 Corvettes and a guest motorcycle for the trip. An hour and half drive to Park Restaurant, was an adventure through the countryside to a little out of the ordinary establishment that serves delicious home cooking, and especially wonderful homemade pies. Along the way a pit stop was taken after an hour at a Gas America/Dairy Queen, but it was a little early for ice cream. After the great lunch more driving was done to a rest stop where then everyone headed towards their home after a great trip through the country and getting to see many old covered bridges.
