22nd Annual South Central Corvette Show
Wylie sent in the following report of his representing the club at the South Central Corvette Club Show:
So after babysitting since Monday my 2 year old grandson, I just had to get out in my Corvette somewhere. I knew there was a car show down at Hubler's and Rita agreed I could go. So off I went. settled into my spot right behind Charlie B who was the only other CI member in attendance. That surprised me but I knew a big group was going on the Herder's mystery drive. Finished cleaning my car and called Rita to tell her there were no C7's in the show. She grabbed our niece and threw her and the grandson into our jeep and she jumped in the C7 and headed to Hubler's. They arrived about Noon. Rita was happy to get out as well. She was a bit late arriving to get many votes and anyway the C7 was in a class with 08 -13 C6's. So about 1:15 she and her fan's left. And of course the best part of the day was that my '93 won one of the trophy's for the C4 class. It was a nice car show with 73 entrees run by South Central Indiana Corvette Club. On a final note Rita helped the the South Central's charity fund by purchasing numerous 50/50 tickets.
