Hoosier Grissom Autocross July 28 - 29
The Hoosier Corvette Club held their autocross event at Grissom Areoplex this year, and as Corvette Indy found out, the airport parking lots are no longer available for events so they chose to head north. Corvette Indy members fortunately supplied four corner workers as Bill, Mark, along with David & Kim handled several corners while Butch, Frank & Cathy made the use of the track. Mike Bell claimed to have made an open track that 'that no cones will be hit', this was NOT true as the four club and other workers can attest to. It was a beautiful warm day and everyone had a good time even with a few delays with timing the events were over at 4:30. Pictured below Butch drove #89 while Frank & Cathy shared #24 / #246 with Cathy almost beating Frank in one of the rounds. After the events a number of the competitors and workers headed to the museum parking lot for a pizza party, while the rest headed for home. Sunday would see the return of the club's competitors along with David & Kim and Gary & Marian working.
