​2018 Putnam Park - 6/2 & 6/3

The Indiana Region's big event of the autocross season at Putnam Park Road Course had several Corvette Indy competitors and workers attending during the weekend. Competing were Butch DeWitt along with Frank and Cathy Coolidge while workers on both days were Mark Hilligoss, Jimmie Driscoll, Bill Lapham, Gary & Marian Cole, and Keith Riley, on Saturday Janet McIntyre joined the group along with the addition of Jim Shaver on Sunday. Mark, Jimmie, Gary, Marian and Janet worked corners, Bill timing, and Jim handled starting duties while Keith helped post time slips both days. We also had a new member, Doug Heck, join and pay his dues so that he could get worker points for the weekend. Great way to become a member Doug! Our racers Butch, Frank, & Cathy had a great Saturday with Cathy's times a bit better than Franks. On Sunday unfortunately Frank had a power steering hose fail on his fourth run, so Cathy didn't get to take her runs at all. Butch on the other hand ran well with not problems on both days. On Saturday evening Tammy DeWitt's business hosted a dinner for the competitors and workers with Keith doing the setup and cooking as Tammy was in Florida. The dinner was a great way to finish the day's events, which was enjoyed by all that were there.
