Chappie's in Village of West Clay & Zionsville DQ

As a continuation of the beautiful day on Saturday August 18 Dean & Zoe hosted their first Drive N Dine. With 11 Corvettes leaving from their house the group consisted of Dean & Zoe, Darrell & Beth, Rich & Suzanne, Bill & Erika, Jim & Shelley, Susie & Terry, Greg & Donna, Mark & Donna, Mel & Norma, Pat & Carolyn, and Jeff which headed towards the Carmel roundabouts and to Chappies in the Village of West Clay, near last year's Pamfilio's Drive N Dine. Chappie's has recently decided to not open for regular business on Saturdays, but wanted to open for the Corvette Indy group as a special event. So not only did we have the restaurant to ourselves, we had the whole street to park on in front of the restaurant . Once we finished a nice lunch there a majority of the group headed for the DQ in Zionsville with Jim & Shelley leading. After several misdirections in the front of the restaurant the group headed out to Towne Road and then 116th street to the DQ. Everyone but Pat & Carolyn and Mel & Norma made this excursion to the West. Once done a majority of the group planned for a Sunday Drive N Dine to Rick's Boatyard due to the extremely nice weather forecast. We must make use of sunny and cool days.
