Fox and Hound Pub & Grill

On Friday August 23, with a dry day forecast, Greg & Donna hosted a good group of 10 Corvettes & a motorcycle on a drive over hill and dale to the Fox and Hound restaurant just south of 146th street across from Lowes. Those making the Retirees & Hookey Players event were hosts Greg & Donna B, Jim & Judie A, Rich & Suzanne B, Dean & Zoe D, Wylie & Rita E, Kevin & Beth M, Bill & Erika L, Jack H, Rich P, Jim S and Terry S on his Honda. The group left Greg's house with only Greg knowing the destination, so heading West on 79th street and continuing on to Eagle Creek area leading some to think Rick's as the destination. But we continued North and back around to the 86 / 96 street corridor and then up Zionsville road, leading us in yet another direction. Heading across 106 street and into the Village of West Clay was no help in figuring out where where going to. Out of the Village of West Clay we headed North and then East on 146 st. But instead of a former destination of Abuelos, we pulled in to Fox and Hound, a new destination for the group. When we got there Shelly N met us without Jim, who was off earning his C7 credits. The restaurant gave us a room to ourselves and we all ordered off of a good lunch menu, even though we were there after 2. Everyone had a great time with lots of topics floating around the table. The group broke up around 4:30 to beat the traffic home.
