Gray Brothers Cafeteria

For a change of pace on Wednesday September 19 part of the group, Arminta, Jim, and Bill & Erika, met at Greg's to then head south for a drive being led by Carolyn.  For ease of everyone we met Carolyn at Southern Plaza Shopping Center and then headed to South Port to pick up Dorthy, her mother. While at Dorthy's we got to see their new deck. Greg was especially interested as Donna has been thinking they would enjoy a deck between the porch and new garage. From South Port we took a few back roads over to Mooresville, the location of Gray Brothers Cafeteria. Once there we had a great parking spot for Corvettes and were able to walk right in and get our meals. For those who had been there before this was a real treat as one usually has to wait for a bit to get to the food lines. Doug, who had been working on the south side was also able to meet us for lunch. The food was great and the pies a wonder. Everyone had a good time and enjoyed the mostly empty dinning room. Another one of the perks of Wednesday mid afternoon lunches, no people and good service. From Gray's the Northern contingent of the group found their way back to I465 and the way back home.
