Trip to "Big Ugly" - 08/13

On the first day that the sun promised to show Bill & Erika, at Greg's suggestion that a drive somewhere was needed, held a Retirees & Hookey Players DnD to a new location for the group. It was the newly opened this year Bubs in Zionsville, home of the "Big Ugly Burger". Those able to go were the hosts Bill & Erika, Greg & Donna B, Dick & Bonnie P, Susie H & Terry S (with Terry driving Susie's Precious as she is recovering from surgery), and Jack H. The group took a trip around a few subdivisions and then headed to Bubs which is near the intersection of 106 and Zionsville road, skirting most of the construction going on this summer. Once they got to Bubs they were met by Shelley N who had commandeered a table for the group on the beautiful outside patio. Since this was his first chance to deliver it to Shelley, Greg brought along the new Corvette Indy sign that will be raffled at the 25th Anniversary Dinner. The sign will be a donation by Jim and Shelly with all of the raffle proceeds going to the charity fund. It is really beautiful and will certainly be a hit at the party.
