Shelby Shifters Car Show 7/20

On July 20 CI members Jeff B, Chris & Paula W and Randy & Sherry S met at the Cracker Barrel in Shelbyville for a nice filling breakfast before they hit up the Shelby Shifters Car Show. The group heard that the 50/50 was at least $1,000 so it was worth a shot to attend and they were giving out $50 gas cards.  After they arrived at Kennedy Park they found some shade and the detailing began. This was a predominantly street rod type car show but still worth entering to try the money. Lots of really nice cars with the Vettes getting some looks. There was close to 400 cars crammed into the park. At 3 p.m. the awards were handed out with very nice trophies. None of the members won but they were glad to be in the company of good friends. The 50/50 ended being $1425 which no one in the club won. Thanks to Jeff for the report and pictures.
