Penske Driver's Autograph Session

On Monday evening, May 12, the drivers for the Penske Indycar teams held an autograph session at our sponsor's location Penske Chevrolet that a number of members were able to attend. This years Penske drivers are returning Helio Castroneves, Will Power, and new to the team Juan Pablo Montoya. Items brought in by fans were varied from pictures to tires and evening including a "Stingray" that the three drivers autographed. Most of the Corvette Indy gang hung around until the end of the session so that a Team and Club pictures could be taken. Those there during the evening were autograph seekers Bill & Cheryl R (as Cheryl is a Helio fan), along with Jim S, Greg & Donna B, Bill & Erika L, Jim & Shelley N, Jim A, Rick M, Lynn P, Greg E. While hanging around the showroom Donna even tried out a new Cruz with Jim N helping her adjust the manual seat so she could see over the dash. His final instruction to her was that she could just 'keep pumping it', to get the right adjustment. Near the end of the evening a "C7" was driven in to the showroom with Greg instantly giving the young driver a card and attempting to sign him up! Grant's picture will also be added to the members page as his dad, who works for Penske, said that his son could become an honorary member. Another fun evening with a great group of friends who enjoy doing events together.
