Drive N Dunk 07/06/13

The first Drive N Dunk of July was held in a new location at the Another Broken Egg Cafe which is across US31 from the McAlister's where it is usually held. This is to become the new Cars & Coffee location for future Saturdays, but not well tested on this rainy day. As is the club's normal procedure we commandeered multiple tables for the nearly 20 members that came to the new venue. This may not work well with the new location as they are not geared to allowing long term sitting, they want patron turn over. There was a tent set up in the parking lot for Cars & Coffee where coffee, small muffins, and cookies were available, but no place to sit and chat as we tend to do. Those that did come mostly drove their metal cars, as the parking lot was also an unknown quantity for safe parking. It turns out that there would be sufficient parking on the south side for the whole Corvette Indy group. Those attending were Greg & Donna B, Jim & Judy A, Greg T, Dick & Bonnie P,  John & Marge H, Jim & Shelly N, Bill & Erika L, Robert S, Rich P, Rich B, Bob H, and Vince M (our XXponet supplier). Since our group seemed to not be in a hurry it took awhile to have the food served, which worked in our favor.
Once done eating we hustled out to check out the parking lot and then head on our way for the rest of Saturday's activities.
