Dooley O'Toole's
On January 17, what turned out to be a cold but sunny Thursday afternoon, the Retiree's & Hookey players group met at Dooley O'Toole's for their first dine of 2013. With salt applied to the roads just that morning there was no Drive planned as most of the Corvettes stayed home snug and dry, but there were 3 Vettes in the parking lot to make it a true first DnD of the season. The day's group consisted of 11 Corvette Indy and Circle City members with Bob H. a potential new member joining the group. The Corvette Indy members were Robert S (who hosted), Wylie E , Bill R, Jim & Shelly N, Bill & Erika L, and Bob H. The Circle City members were Rich P, Alan A. and Bob & Sherry W. The group, as always, spent a long time at lunch with discussions ranging from the newly introduced C7 including what the convertible version may look like to the electrical issues of the new Boeing 787's, with many other topics in between. Towards the end of the lunch the group reinforced the idea that a weekly get together open to members of both clubs would certainly hasten the arrival of Spring and getting everyone's prized cars out of storage and back on to the roads where they belong.
