Indiana Region Awards Banquet

This years Indian Region Award Banquet was held on the evening of April 5 at the Tippecanoe Shrine Club and hosted by the Lafayette Corvette Club. Corvette Indy had 7 members get the coveted 200 Point Award jackets for competing in and or working region events. Those getting jackets with their standings in parentheses were ladies Bonnie H (13) and Cathy C (7), while the men jackets were awarded to Wylie E (31), Drew D (25), Bill L (23), Frank C (21), and Butch D (16). Butch also received plaques for first places in several rallies. Due to the points those members and others earned through out the year Corvette Indy was third in the region behind the two clubs that emphasize competition as their main activities. The evenings final presentation was the Bill Callahan and Dick Satkamp Award (Dick was a Corvette Indy member) to Mike Godfrey. This award is given yearly to the person who the Region Competition Director feels exemplifies the qualities that were attributed to Bill Callahan and Dick Satkamp those being competitiveness, comradeship, leadership, and helpfulness.
The evening ended with everyone looking forward to the 2014 Competition Season.
