Apples to Charleston's

On Friday 10/24 Sarah wanted to take a 'bus-man's holiday' from here school bus driving duties since Westfield schools were on fall break and have a Drive N Dine with her Corvette. To help her plan one, Bill & Erika obliged and set up a short drive to Stuckey's for apples & cider and then on to Charleston's for a filling lunch. Those able to go along were Jack H, Greg & Donna B, Susie H & Terry S, with just returning Vegas travelers Shelly N and later Jim joining the group for lunch and conversation. The drive almost didn't happen as it rained enough to dampen the roads in the morning, but by noon the roads were dry and it was a go. Stuckey's main lots were full of fall apple gatherers, but the group found good parking in the auxiliary lot. Purchases were made and the group then headed off to the Westfield restaurant location skirting the US31 & IN32 construction zones. A great afternoon with the sun coning out as the group left for home.
