Veterans Day Parade 11/10/2018
Corvette Indy joined with two other local Corvette Clubs to participate in the annual Indianapolis Veterans' Day Parade. Jim Shaver and Joe Travis sent in pictures with Jim and organizer John Herder adding their thoughts on the day. Jim's comments: The day was sunny and cold with temperatures in the high 20's. Since we were near the end, we got to wait a long time before we got to roll out. After the parade a number of the Corvette Indy members headed to Rick's Boatyard for what has become the annual after parade luncheon. John's report: We had an enjoyable Parade on a sunny, dry but cool day. We were joined by members of Classical Glass and Circle City Corvette Clubs We had a good showing with about thirty Corvettes. After the Parade, Corvette Indy had a nice lunch and good fellowship at Rick's Boatyard Restaurant. The other clubs had made arrangements to eat elsewhere. Everyone is looking forward to next years parade. The second gallery of pictures was sent in by Bob Hensley and added a week after the parade, lots of additional pictures for everyone to enjoy and remember the Veterans Day Parade.
