Xfinity 250 Track Event 09-07

With short notice of only a week our friend, Mike Quinn, at Chevrolet arranged another neat and fun opportunity for Corvette Indy members. It was at the Indy 250 Xfinity running at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Mike had the  opportunity to have 20 Corvette’s on Display in the Chevrolet Display area at IMS and invited Corvette Indy to participate. It was similar to the Grand Prix weekend. Unfortunately there were NO track laps due to NASCAR taking the whole days schedule.  Those able to attend got to the Speedway around 10:30 am parked in the Chevy Display area as part of Chevrolet's Display for the Day. Mike then hosted the Club Guests to Lunch in a Chalet – with a Chevy NASCAR Driver appearance.  He was then able included some Club members in a ride in one of the Chevy Silverado Driver Intro Trucks prior to the Race.  Then Club then enjoyed the track activities and the race in afternoon.
