City Barbeque 02/18

With the meeting the previous evening being canceled and the weather turning warmer Wylie and Rita called for a short notice Retiree and Hookey Player Dine at City Barbeque in Carmel. A good group of 11 members were able to attend. Along with hosts Wylie & Rita were Bill & Erika L, Greg & Donna B, Jim & Judi A, Rich P, Bob Y, and Terry S. Weather was a major topic, including some having roof issues and the general condition of roads and other things being affected by the snow and ice pack. The day's warm temperature was starting the much needed thaw, which got everyone thinking about getting their Corvettes out. As many said the snow all needs to be gone and then a good rain to wash the salt and sand off of the roads is needed before driving them. We also talked about the now infamous sink hole at the NCM and the steps being taken to correct the problem. The dine didn't last as long as usual as several of the members were headed home to get ready for an evening meeting that they were attending. Thanks to Wylie for setting up the luncheon.
