Jason's Deli

Tom S braved the weather and got his C6 out!

On March 1, another cold and damp day, the Hookey & Retiree Players group met for a Dine only at Jason's Deli in Carmel. Those who got out were Bill & Erika L, Greg & Donna B, Jim & Shelley N, Mark & Donna S, Bob & Barb Y, Jim S, Jeff B, and Tom S who actually drove his Corvette to the luncheon. Conversation at first centered on everyone lamenting the poor weather and then on to many other topics, with three separate sets of discussions at times due to the long table. Some topics did have everyone joining together on them as the restaurant cleared out Jeff talked a bit abut his project of getting the underside of his C6's hood air brushed with the Marine emblem, look for a page soon on its progress under Members Projects. It also turned out that a couple of the members had birthdays today. Happy Birthday to Jim N & Mark S, who were at Jason's and also Suzanne B, with a number of other members having a birthday soon in early March. The group had a great time and broke up late afternoon. We will be looking forward to the next get together even if we can't take our Corvettes on a drive to it.
