ACA Memorial Weekend July 15 & 16
The 5th annual Tim Harless Memorial weekend was held on beautiful July days for fun events. This year the organizers changed the fun rally into a Hare & Hound style event with everyone looking for the Orange M & M guy painted on the correct road after coming to a decision intersection. They also included questions which could earn back mileage for when wrong decisions were made at those intersections. It was a fun afternoon with Butch & Tammy DeWitt along with Bill & Erika Lapham enjoying the events and the memorial dinner afterwards. Fortunately they also had a couple of poker rallies with Erika doing a good job on card picking for a 1st place in one.
On Sunday Frank & Cathy Collidge along with Paul Oleksy were there to compete while Bill Lapham assisted ACA with the loan of the club's computer and other cabling while Butch was there to oversee the event in his Region Executive position. The runs took a bit over 30 seconds, but the course was very small so only one car could run at a time. Paul kept trying for fast time of the day, but fell a bit short in the end. It was a fun day as any is when there are Indiana Region Events being held in great weather.
