Hunt for Best Tenderloin Day VI 6/21
Thursday started wet and soggy, but still everybody arrived on time, signed in and at 12:30 ready to take on the hunt to Ray's Drive-In in Kokomo. It looked like it was going to be a metal car drive, except for one lone Corvette. Past President Pat drove his C5 to battle today’s elements, what a trooper. 12:30 came, and so the drive was on. Instead going East like we did the last drive-n-dine, we went West and North, driving thru the county roads until we arrived at Ray’s, on time, even with the local train switching rail lines. At Rays, John & Diana along with Jim & Joni met the group. We all sat down, the wait staff took our orders, and the conversations began. Besides a full menu, we had a selection of mini, regular, or king size tenderloin. On the menu was also a baked pork loin, with mash potatoes, a side and dinner roll. The sides ordered were chips, onion rings or fries. Drinks included, Strawberry shake, Root Beer, Coke products and water. Another “ Hunt “ is in the Books as we left Rays looking forward to the Next Drive-n-dine.
