Teddy's Burger Joint
On March 21, a sunny but twenty degree below normal temperature Thursday, the group met for a Dine at the newly opened Teddy's Burger Joint in Carmel. Several of the members got their Vettes out, but most stayed home and as the streets were still green, not from St Paddy's Day beer, but Carmel salt crews. The group started with 10 members and later swelled to 13 through out the afternoon. Those arriving in Vettes were Robert S, Greg B, and Bill R., the rest of the early group were Dick & Bonnie P, Bill & Erika L, Arminta I, Shelley N, and Bob H. Those able to attend later were Bob Y, Jim N, and Doug I. This was basically a test run of the new location which passed muster on having decent parking for a real Drive N Dine and a fairly large menu for future dates. With the basketball tournaments playing on the TV's the group had the usual sports discussions and more about the new C7 and those that would like to get one, or at least upgrade what they already owned since the price of C5 and C6's are reflecting the release of the new car and it's anticipated pricing. With the late arrivals we stayed until it was time to head home and probably not think of having dinner due to the large lunch. As always everyone had a good time and looking forward to meeting Monday at Claddagh's.
