G. T. South's Dine 12/12/14
Jim and Judi A called for a dine only on Friday, December 12. The location was GT South's Rib House and Southern Barbecue, 5711 E 71st Street. The weather forecast called for partly cloudy, cool, and most important, no rain. Everyone enjoyed their pulled pork or beef brisket meals, and one person had a full rack of ribs. Being that today may be the last dry day for a Corvette ride, everyone drove their Corvettes – no metal cars. The final count was three C4s, two C5s, two C6s, and one C7. As the energetic group of Retirees and Hooky players ate lunch the conversation was varied and lively. There was speculation as to who in the club would be the first to own a C7 Z06. No conclusions were drawn. Somehow the topic of charades came up. Rita E., Donna B. and Bonnie S were all for it. Al F. was pretty sure he would be out of town on charades day and Jim S. planned to to travel with him. As usual, that conversation along with the others was again wide and lively with lots of laughter. A great way to get members of the club in to the Christmas Holiday season as they got to drive their Corvettes for possibly the last time this year! Thanks to Jim A & Jim S for the pictures and the recap of the dine.
